Had an awesome stay at beach retreat condo #411. There was plenty of room for 4 adults, 3 grand kids and our pet Yorkie. It was a short walk to the beach which was very nice. The condo had nice views from the bedroom, living room and balcony. The condo was decorated very nice and felt like home. The appliances were up to date and all the furniture looked new. It was nice to have the 2 beach chairs and umbrella set up and ready for us every day when we went to the beach, if you are looking for a condo nicely furnished and great views of the ocean we highly recommend this one. We will be going back!
April 28, 2017 – Beach Retreat Unit 202
As newly empty nesters we rented at Beach Retreat to get away from our hectic work life and to allow our adult children an opportunity to join us for part of our time away. We found that the condo was located walking distance from several mid scale restaurants and the beach access and accommodations were perfect. The area had a really good family atmosphere and was mostly quite. The condo was very nice, well furnished and decorated. We spent the first few days alone and thoroughly enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere. Our kids (4) and family’s joined us mid week coming and going as their schedules allowed. The condo easily accommodated our crew including 2 little ones under 3 years old. The little guys loved the balcony over looking the gulf and we adults felt comfortable with the railing height and design. If we visit Destin again we will be looking to rent not only in Beach Retreat but will certainly try to rent the same unit.

This condo is everything it says to be and more. The view with morning coffee can not be beat! Marge was so easy and flexible through the renting process. I WILL recommend this unit to everyone I know that plans to go to Destin.

This condo was amazing! It had everything you needed! It was super clean and beautifully decorated. The location was absolutely perfect. It was an easy walk to the beach and an easy walk to Pompano Joe’s for an afternoon lunch. We will most defiantly stay there next year for our family vacation. It was perfect!
May 28, 2016 – Beach Retreat Unit 202
My wife and 3 sons along with her sister and her family stayed at John and Marge’s condo 202 at Beach Retreat, Destin, Fl and it was fantastic. Condo was clean and very comfy for our both families. The place was nicely decorated and outfitted with every thing you would need to be comfortable away from home. Marge was great to work with. The condo is conveniently located to shopping and dinning. Pool was nice and big and clean. Property overall is well kept. Woke up to the beach every morning!

We always have a wonderful time at any of Marge and John Quirke’s condos. The condos are beautiful, appliances always updated. The owners are so easy to work with. Always friendly, cordial and make every effort to accommodate your every need! We have rent from them for over 15 years! We love the face that we can bring our boxer dog every time to the beach!

April 9, 2016 – Beach Retreat Unit 202
This unit is beautifully decorated, clean, spacious and comfortable. It is in a perfect location (direct private beach access), within walking distance (1/2 mile) to Pompano Joe’s (excellent food, happy hour and live music on the beach on Sunday) and Kenny D’s. The unit is also a very short drive to the new Whole Foods and Publix grocery stores; the outlet shopping mall and Destin Harbor (highly recommend Boshamps for dinner as well) where there are endless activities (dolphin cruises, snorkeling, deep sea fishing, etc.). The walking paths around the condo are excellent for sunrise and sunset walks along the ocean; the pool is beautiful and you have the added security of a gated association (not that you need it as this is a VERY safe area). I NEVER give a unit 5 stars as I feel there is always room for improvement, however, this unit and location exceeded our expectations and we have already booked again for this Fall. Thank you Marge! Looking forward to our next visit!! As are our dogs! 🙂

December 6, 2015 – Maravilla Unit 2403
This was my 1st vrbo booking, was perfect! Condo is beautiful, everything you need-I could live on the balcony-the water is prettiest I’ve seen next to caribbean. Perfect truly white deep sand-lots of birds. Loved the lounge chairs & high tops both. Bed is king, comfy, slept well. Very soundproof, don’t hear the road. Very pet friendly, lots of people with dogs, our 2 were happy, loved grassy area and walking paths. Very convenient, close to eating/shopping/golfing. Great 1st vrbo and Destin experience. Marge was easy to work with, would not hesitate to book again. Loved Pompano Joe’s and Crab Trap (went there twice as Pompano Joe’s closed for renovations) Went to Harbor Walk, SanDestin ate at Another Broken Egg. Golfed at gorgeous 9 hole Golf Garden. Didn’t even need the extra paper supplies I brought, plenty provided-has hair dryers & games & binoculars & a flashlight! Thanks so very much for sharing this condo!

October 15, 2015 – Beach Retreat Unit 411
We loved everything about this condo. The view was incredible, the condo was very roomy and had everything you could possibly need or want! It was wonderful being right off the elevator and quiet being on the end of the building. The dog potty area was right off the elevator on the bottom floor which was very convenient. The furnishings in the condo were lovely as well. We will definitely be a repeat visitor to this condo! Thank you Marge for sharing your little piece of heaven with us. We had a fabulous time thanks to your hospitality!

This condo was beautifully decorated with plenty of space and comfortable beds. The pool was large and the hot tub so relaxing. The view was great and easy to get to the beach. We loved the location and the time of year we visited.

Wow, what a house! Everything was perfect. Decorated very nice. Love the view. Having chairs put out every day on the beach was such a plus. Great place to walk doggie. I’m sure I will be returning to this condo. You won’t have any problem with the owner, Marge. She calls you right back.

A gem of a condo for sure. The pictures do not do this lovely condo justice! We (2 adults and 4 teenage girls) had a fabulous time in Beach Retreat 411 for our spring break. Plenty of space for all (and more if needed) with the most comfortable beds! I compare the master king to that of the Westin heavenly bed! Best sleep I have ever gotten on vacation. The luxury linens were a huge bonus. Much nicer than expected, as were the bath towels. I was a little worried about the street in front, but the traffic and noise were minimal and not an issue at all. The fact that it is pet friendly (even though we didn’t bring ours) was a non-issue as well. The dogs were all very well behaved, (barely heard one bark all week) and the grounds were impeccably kept. Marge was very easy to work with and quick to respond to any question or need. Would easily stay here again!

Excellent Condo for Families
Had a wonderful stay at Beach Retreat 411 with 2 families staying for a week. The condo was huge and provided plenty of room for everyone. The balcony provided a great gathering spot to watch the beach in the morning and moonset over the water at night. The kitchen had everything we needed and it was a huge plus to have the full size washer and dryer in the unit. We’ll definitely be staying here again.

Fun in the Sun
I was very impressed with this condo. It was clean, cool, roomy and a great view. I love that there was a flat screen tv in every bedroom, one in the den,and one on the wall across from the bunk beds. My grandchildren were delighted. The pool was clean as well as the bathrooms at the pool. The kitchen was well stocked. I certainly would recommend. Thank you for a fun filled vacation.

A wonderful time was had by all!
This was a visit for family, took parents for first part of the week, and husband’s family the latter part. Everyone was excited about the view, the condo and all its amenities, and the weather, which was outstanding! There was most anything you needed in the condo, more than any other that I can recall–plenty of towels, glasses, kitchen utensils, etc. All we had to furnish was the good times! We’ll most certainly be back! Thanks Marge for taking such good of us.

This is a beautiful condo–great views, great location. Very neat and clean. Pool area is especially nice. Recommend heavier drapes on bedroom windows that face corridor to darken the room. We always dine at Marina Cafe. Tried Louis Louis Restaurant on a friend’s recommendation and found it to be excellent.

Can’t Wait to Return!
We stayed at the condo the first week of Oct. 2010. We really enjoyed the condo and were able to relax in comfort. The furnishings were well maintained and comfortable. Beds were comfortable. The view from the balcony was great. What a way to spend some relaxing time. The pool area was clean with comfortable chairs and lounge chairs. We had our little Bichon and she loved walking on the sidewalk by the street. I’d recommend even if you don’t have a pet. Marge was great to work with and we can’t wait to return next year.

This is the fourth time we have rented from this owner, Marge, and the third time to this condo, Maravilla 2403. We are seasoned travelers and only return to locations that offer the relaxing vacation we desire. Anytime there has been an issue, and all were minor, the owner was quick to resolve. The view and balcony are alone worth the visit. We will return!

A great vacation destination
We have stayed at a lot of places and this condo is on the top of the list. Beautiful, clean, and has a beautiful view of the beach. Everything you could need for a week’s get away is there. We brought our small dog and found this place very pet friendly. The beach was only across the street and we had two lounge chairs set up for us each morning. Great walking area and we enjoyed coffee each morning at Bad Ass Coffee shop about a mile walk from condo. I would come back for sure!!

The condo is decorated very well and comfortable.The ocean is right outside ! I do not spend time on the beach but, get my ocean fix just looking at the water. One of the few vacation rentals that allows me to bring my cat. Shopping is great! Good weather the first week in November.

Great pet-friendly rental
We absolutely loved the condo! The unit had everything that we needed. We loved the decor and the renovations in 2403 set it apart from many units in the complex. Our dog was comfortable in the unit and was able to enjoy the outstanding view. We will be back for sure.

A Little Piece of Heaven
We just returned from a week in this wonderful condo. The listing was described accurately and the photos reflected the appearance and amenities well. The owners take great pride in keeping it meticulous. Marge was very easy to work with. We spent most of our time on the balcony just relaxing. I actually had to go out on the balcony a couple of nights and wake up my husband to come inside. He would have slept out there all night listening to the lull of the waves. I highly recommend this property.

Maravilla 2403
We enjoyed our stay at Maravilla very much. The owner, Marge, was great to work with. All arrangements were made smoothly, and she always responded to any emails that I sent in a very timely manner. A big difference with Marge was that she did not require a security deposit/check ahead of time. She has a credit card on file to charge if needed, but said she has never had to use it. The condo is great and has all necessities that you should require. The décor is very nicely done and well kept, as are the grounds. We liked being on the 4th floor and sitting on the balcony and enjoying the ocean view!!! We made good use of the walking/biking path that runs in front of Maravilla and Pompano Joe’s is an easy walk from here. There was never a problem getting our beach chairs and umbrella. We totally enjoyed it and would definitely stay here again!!!!! Thanks Marge!!

Terrific condo, great location, felt like home.
My mother and I took a week long vacation with my dog. The condo was really wonderful. The furnishings were very nice and attractive as well. The rooms were clean and also quiet. We enjoyed the view and were pleased with the easy access to the beach. I was very happy to find how easy it is to navigate around Destin. The complex and the area feel very safe. I got up at dawn each morning and walked my dog, and also discovered a terrific dog park about 3 miles from condo. We would highly recommend Maravilla for a beautiful, relaxing vacation destination.

Maravilla is our favorite Destin destination. This property exceeds all others that we have rented in our 18 years of vacations in Destin. Maravilla 2403 is beautifully decorated, very well appointed with the basics and more, and offers an awesome view of the Gulf. Condo is very clean and well maintained. We love the oceanfront pool, tennis courts, and the beach set-up of umbrella & 2 chairs. The perfect getaway for couples, families, girl’s weekend, etc. Great shopping and dining close by. Definitely 5 stars!! Only recommendation would be a portable folding dryer in the unit for hanging wet swimsuits. We will definitely be back!
